The Four-Dimension Readiness Framework

Readiness assessments that produce one number are worse than useless, because a single score averages away the thing you actually need to know: which dimension is your binding constraint. An organisation with excellent data and no process discipline fails differently from one with mature governance and no usable data. Both might score 6 out of 10. The interventions have almost nothing in common. We assess against four dimensions, scored independently and never averaged. **Data** — is it accessible, documented, and legally usable for this purpose. **People** — do you have the skills in-house, and do the people who will use the output trust it. **Process** — does a decision the AI touches have a defined owner and a defined path. **Governance** — can you say what the system is allowed to do, and prove what it did. Your programme moves at the speed of your lowest dimension. That is the whole argument for scoring them separately.
